I am a singer, musician and composer based in Southern Ontario, and I have been making music for much of my life. I discovered early on that while I enjoyed my classical training in piano and flute and my time in various choirs as a singer, what really captured my heart as a teenager was the folk music of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. I also came to have an abiding love of literature in general and poetry in particular. So, while getting both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in English Literature from Wilfrid Laurier University, I began to write and to record musical settings of some of my favourite poetic pieces. I am always looking for new sources of inspiration and I love a good challenge. now, I’ll stop prattling on about myself and let you get back to the music, which is, after all, why you’re here.
